I tried to download two audio books as mp3 files (on another site) and then put them on a cd so I could play them in my car. It didn't work. Is there a different format I should use? Thanks.

Sorry if I posted in wrong forum too...not sure where to ask this.

Betty

It depends if your car stereo can play MP3 CDs. If it can't, then you need to convert the MP3 files to .WAV format, then burn those to CD. There are lots of free ways to convert them - just Google "convert MP3 TO WAV".

Bear in mind that .WAV files are much, much bigger than MP3s and CDs can only hold 70-80 minutes of content, so for most audiobooks you will need multiple CDs.
